  • Evaluate and clarify your expectations
  • Identify ways to immediately improve your mental health

Facilitated by: Dr. Jenny Long, Licensed Psychologist and Owner at Midwest Counseling & Assessment

With two decades dedicated to empowering women’s mental well-being, Dr. Jenny Long, a clinical psychologist and speaker, guides individuals to strengthen their personal and professional lives. A self-described "bold introvert,” Dr. Long leverages her unique perspective to foster meaningful connections and deliver profound insights. She is an expert in equipping individuals with assertive communication skills and strategies to manage expectations, thereby combating anxiety and cultivating lasting contentment. In her talks, she uses a dynamic mix of compelling stories, vivid word pictures, and humor (with an ounce of sarcasm) to help her audience gain insight and courage to change what is not working. She equips participants with practical tips that can immediately be applied to transform their daily routines and relationships at any stage of life.

Drawing from her extensive experience in private practice and consulting with small businesses and corporations to enhance workplace dynamics, Dr. Long brings real-world relevance to her talks. After recognizing countless clients deal with these issues, she was inspired to educate a larger audience, not just those that attend therapy. Outside of her mission to change the world one boundary at a time, her interests include family travel, captivating espionage books, her beloved dogs, and the occasional thought of exercise. If you do find her at a social gathering, she will be hanging out with any dogs in attendance or seeking meaningful conversation in the corner.
